Angled Neck Bottle/Jug – ON $ALE!

$40.00

This unique Angled Neck Bottle/Jug is some of my earliest work. (So early my photos are pretty sketchy!) It is from a year in which I worked on the wheel, throwing functional pieces which I then altered and amended in every way I could. It is a sturdy, almost primitive piece with organic and rustic finishes. On top is a chalky white stoneware glaze which has toasty touches. The bottle is textured with short carved lines and then stained with an earthy green oxide. The bent neck shape meets an honest thick-slabbed handle. Top and Bottom are connected with a random bare clay border which was paddled to flatten. It’s both functional as a serving piece or vase and a great organic touch to the right decor.

  • 100% Ceramic
  • Hand-applied finishes
  • Fired to high stoneware temperatures
  • Variety of uses
  • Charming soft gesture and colors
  • A thoughtful gift.
